Workshops with Martin Lewis and NTU BA Fine Art Students

Following the recent success of 'Wasted Labour' at the Nottingham Castle Open 2015, we've been looking further into the uses of rowing machines as tools for drawing and performance, through a short series of workshops with BA Fine Art students at Nottingham Trent University (NTU).

Mike Blow and I were delighted to deliver a new Pod to the Science Museum this January, to be considered for the new Interactive Gallery, due to open Autumn 2016.

Pod: Collaborative R&D

In January, Mike Blow and I workshoped ideas for a future iteration of Pod as a large-scale public artwork, alongside Thor McIntyre-Bernie and Edmund Harcourt from Hogarth Productions.

We're aiming to transform Pod into a hybrid between an installation and a performance. We can't tell you yet what it will look, sound, or feel like but look out for its debut outing later this year!

Main Prize Win at the Nottingham Castle Open!

Martin Lewis and I were awarded the Main Prize at this year's Nottingham Castle Open for our video installation, 'Wasted Labour' - by unanimous decision! Thank you to the judges, Deb Covell, Rob Dingle, Kerry Harker, and Ben Woodeson.

This October, I'll be taking part in a week-long residential LAB at Metal to develop ideas for NetPark - the world's first digital art park - in Chalkwell Park, Southend-on-Sea, UK.

Her Noise Archive: Symbol of Democracy or Communist Uprising?

A new video work questioning the fine line between political criticism and political rebellion within sound arts practice. Created in response to the Her Noise Archive; an archive of women working at the intersection of sound, art, noise and politics, it challenges the role of women within the male dominated fields of sound and politics.
